Aged and Community Services Western Australia (ACSWA) is the largest peak industry body for not for profit aged and community care providers in WA, representing a large number of church, charitable and local government organisations throughout the state.

Services provided

ACSWA is dedicated to representing the interests of the hard-working not-for-profit organisations throughout WA that provide care to the elderly and disabled of our State.

By providing a voice for these organisations, we enable them to provide the best possible care to clients and patients.

We do this by:

• Running a full calendar of industry training every year;
• Providing up-to-date information on changes within the industry;
• Lobbying in a cohesive manner to effect the change that is needed to ensure care is safe, nurturing and dynamic.

Target Groups

Charitable, public benevolent institutions, not for profit association or similar organisations which own, manage or conducts a retirement village, community care service, residential care facility or hospital to support or care for seniors, the elderly and/or people with disabilities

Entry Requirements

• Full Members: Charitable, public benevolent institutions, not for profit associations or similar organisations which own, manage or conducts a retirement village, community care service, residential care facility or hospital to support or care for seniors, the elderly and/or people with disabilities
• Affiliated Supporter: Not for profit organisations whose primary purpose is support, information, training, advice or advocacy to the aged care on a ‘not for profit’ basis
• Friend of ACSWA: Individuals who are not currently employed within the industry but with to keep updated with developments within aged care
• Corporate Supporters: Private companies, government departments and educational institutions active in the aged care sector
