Armadale Youth Accommodation Service

Armadale Youth Accommodation Service (AYAS) offers short term emergency/crisis accommodation for young people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We offer a holistic approach to get young people into independent living. AYAS is a 6 bed facility accommodating up to three (3) single males and three (3) single females.

Services provided

• Support transition from homelessness 
• Advocate for young people to re-engage back into education or seek employment 
• Drug education support 
• Independent living programs; cooking, health and nutrition

Target Groups

Young people presenting with an issue of:

• Homelessness (primarily)
  
• Exposure to domestic violence
• Drug addiction
• Mental health
• Sexual abuse

Entry Requirements

• 15-20 years and homeless or at risk of homelessness 
• Telephone as initial contact to arrange a phone assessment
