Salvation Army Bridge Program - Non-Residential Services

NRS is the non-residential, alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling service of The Salvation Army Bridge Program. The Bridge Program offers a comprehensive range of AOD services across Perth, enabling participants to enjoy continuity of care and includes: a sobering up unit, detoxification and assessment unit; residential treatment program; and a non-residential counselling service known as Non-Residential Services (NRS). NRS is available to people who have completed a residential treatment program, and also people in the general community experiencing problems associated with their own, family members, or loved ones drug and/or alcohol related issues.

Target Groups

• People who experience problems associated with their own AOD use
• People having difficulties coping/ maintaining a drug free lifestyle after a period of abstinence
  
• People exiting a rehab centre and who request on-going support and counselling 
  
• People who wish to cease their own drug use 
  
• People who are mandated to receive counselling for AOD issues 
  
• Family members requiring support, education including partners who have spouses with AOD issues

Entry Requirements

• NRS is not for people under 18 years of age, people who require immediate emergency intervention (suicide/ threatening behaviour), people requiring home visits
